Matthias Hühne

Matthias Hühne is founder, owner and managing director of Hühne Immobilien GmbH. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (cum laude) from Harvard University.

Matthias Hühne worked for a real estate developer in Vancouver, Canada, until early 1991, then returned to Germany to work for the real estate subsidiary of Deutsche Bank. In November of 1992, he joined the Berlin office of the international developer Hines as project manager and Prokurist (authorized signatory). In 1996, Matthias Hühne founded his own company, Hühne Immobilien GmbH.

Matthias Hühne has led real estate developments with a combined floor area in excess of 5,000,000 square feet and commands significant experience in the conceptualization, financing, marketing, leasing and project management of real estate projects. Matthias Hühne takes a profound interest in architectural theory and the history of architecture.

For all of Hühne Immobilien’s developments, his focus has been to define each project’s concept, architectural language and overall level of quality, believing that an excellent product will always be a marketing success.
